Each year, The Salvation Army Kamloops helps make Christmas brighter for local individuals and families through our Christmas Hamper and Adopt-a-Family programs.
The Christmas Hamper program connects families experiencing financial hardship with caring sponsors from our community. Individuals, families, businesses, and organizations generously provide support while all recipient information remains confidential.
Families who qualify for assistance receive a gift card to help purchase a Christmas meal, as well as gifts for children and youth who are in high school or younger.
How to Apply
Registration appointments can be booked beginning October 19 by calling 250-554-1611 ext. 200. Space is limited, so we encourage applicants to call early, as appointment times fill up quickly.
Become a Sponsor
One of the most meaningful ways to give back during the Christmas season is to sponsor a local family through our Adopt-a-Family program. Sponsors help provide gifts and holiday support, bringing hope and joy to families in our community.
